George Futas has a successful record for completing complex M&A transactions for clients, domestic and international. Mr. Futas has unique expertise in transactions involving intellectual property value (e.g. technology, manufacturing, defense).
His executive management career spans over 30 years, including P&L responsibility, creating products, marketing and managing complex projects. In addition to extensive experience acquiring and selling companies, Mr. Futas has special expertise in acquisition and licensing of technology, raising capital through private and industry sources.
Positions include CEO-Corus Inc, (business consulting), CEO-IBV Ltd, (a JV with USSR/Russia & US companies), CEO-ITN Ltd, (international telecommunications), GM-SSO (special projects division of Johnson Controls), and Sr. Manager at Logicon (defense systems) and General Electric (computers).
Mr. Futas served on the board of directors of both public and private companies. He joined Alexander Hutton in 1997 and holds an MBA in Marketing/Finance from National University, and an MS in Engineering from the University of Washington.
